Eye Wash
The HSE recommends that at least one litre of sterile saline eyewash should be made available in areas where access to mains tap water is not readily available. When it comes to contamination of the eye, seconds count. Eyewash stations or kit should be placed as closely as possible to all work areas where there is a risk of contamination of the eye. Additional eyewash supplies should be placed in areas where potentially hazardous chemicals are used.
